About the artist
Hello,

My name is Dilyara. I was born in Kazakhstan and moved to the United States when I was a child. I have always loved art and I committed my whole life to becoming an artist.
I'm specifically interested in large-scale drawings and paintings. Many of my works are charcoal, pencil, oil and acrylic. However, I also have experience in printmaking such as etching and lithography. Additionally, I'm skilled in sculpture and know how to work with wood, plaster, and cement. I'm fascinated by art history, especially Japanese and the Renaissance.

As an artist I explore untold stories, identity, mental health, and satire. I'm also trying to branch out into political art. I'm currently based in Washington DC.
