Oil Pastels and colored pencil

For colored exploration, I used colored pencils, oil pastels, markers, and dry markers. I absolutely love d how oil pastels blended and I wish I have use d more of them in my practice as an artist. Because I really liked oil pastels my art piece was mostly oil pastel, but I decided to also add colored pencil to tone down the subject matter prior to adding on oil pastel. Oil pastel was very strange to work with, but in the best way possible. I love how creamy and thick it is, and how rich and dimensional the pigment looked. It was easy to blend out on top one of another, but not seperately by hand. For my art peace I decided to draw groceries that my parents would by often at the grocery store when I was a small child in Kazakhstan.
